2026 Lightning Season - Board spots opening!
Dear Lansdowne Lightning Families,
As our summer season speeds along, we’re already looking ahead to next year — and we need your help to keep the Lightning strong!
Each summer, our swim team is powered not just by fast swimmers and dedicated coaches — but by incredible parent volunteers behind the scenes. As the 2025 season winds down, we’ll have a number of open board roles for 2026. This is your chance to step in, get involved, and help shape the future of our team!
No swim experience is required — just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves for a great cause (and great fun).

Head of Concessions: manage our concession stand at all home meets and time trials.
- Purchase food, drinks, and supplies (we’ll provide past shopping lists)
- Decide pricing and coordinate cash/change
- Set up and staff the stand (with lots of volunteer support)
- Oversee sales and operations during meets
